Call for Abstracts: Join the HELIOS Hydrogen in Steelmaking Conference in 2027

The HELIOS Doctoral Network is proud to announce the upcoming Hydrogen in Steelmaking Conference: Science, Engineering, and Sustainability. Scheduled for 25–26 May 2027, this premier international event will be hosted at the historic Thermotechnical Institute of KU Leuven in Heverlee, Belgium.

As the global steel industry undergoes a massive transition toward climate neutrality, this conference serves as a vital forum for discussing the latest breakthroughs in hydrogen-based steel metallurgy. Attendees will hear exclusive project highlights from the ten doctoral researchers within the HELIOS network, alongside keynote lectures from world-leading green steel experts.
